How to make your Thursday Tremendous at Workplace.

I wish you had an awesome Tuesday and wonderful Wednesday. Trust me you will have tremendous Thursday, too. I know I said you I shall share 5 things to make Thursday tremendous. Well, this time no more five-pointers or plain facts which we all are aware of or can google it.

This time lets connect ourselves.

Just imagine, it is a pleasant Thursday morning and you woke up early than usual. You get afresh, plug in your earphones and go for a walk. On your way to the park, you help an old lady to cross the road. For your such kind act, she says thanks to you and blesses you.

The moment you reach the park, you see people of all age either playing or doing yoga/pranayama. You start your walk and then sit on a chair and do Surya Namaskar. After completing you sit for a while meditate and walk back to your home.

Your mom is standing on the door, with a shock. She could not believe that her child has woke up early and went for a walk, too. You touch her feet and your dads too and go for a bath.

It is just 9 AM on the clock and you are ready for the office. You grab your tiffin, car keys and leave for the office. On your way you see someone asking for a lift, and since you are bit early, as usual, you decide to give a lift to the hitchhiker. You have a casual conversation with him and he tells you about how his car got broke and was getting late for an important meeting. Obliged by your kind act, he shares his visiting card with you. You drive back to your office, and to your wonder, you are the first one today to reach office.

You turn on your laptop, check your emails and search the guy on LinkedIn. And to your luck, he is running a startup which has been termed as unicorn this year. You just wonder, how many interesting people you would have met till date if you had given a lift to people very often. And then you decide to give a lift to hitchhiker whenever it is possible for you.

Since you are amongst the few ones who come early to the office, there is a complete silence on the floor, and you find it serene and could easily plan your day and complete few pending important task. The task which usually takes considerable time, you could do that much faster today as you had complete concentration on the work and nothing else.

Soon, your colleagues arrive and they are amazed seeing you sitting at the desk, that too so early. You greet each other and wish to have a wonderful day today. While working on your task, a teammate comes to you and ask you for your help. You are super busy, so you ask him politely to come after lunch. He still insists you as he has to deploy the program immediately. You anyhow try to manage your time and help him. You teach him how he could do the task and then you start working on your task.

The day is about to end, and you have completed all your task on time today. On your way home, you receive a text message from your friend asking to meet tonight. You, ignore the safety rules and reply him back. And as soon as you press the enter button and see the front, you find a lady crossing road and you press your brake hard. You realized that a small mistake of disobeying the driving rules would have cost lives. You decide to not to text or talk on the phone while driving.

You reach your home and decided to resume your gym membership. You go to the gym and start basic work-out. You start feeling exhausted within few minutes of work out. You realize, the great downfall in your stamina. You have observed people of your age suffering from back pain like cervical etc. You decide to work out from today itself and keep yourself fit.

It is night time and you just compare your yesterday and today. You find your today is much better than yesterday. You try to point out what different you did that your today is much better than yesterday. You start visualizing and comparing your day and you analyze below points:

  1. The morning walk made me feel energetic.
  2. I made my mom happy.
  3. I met a talented person because of giving a lift to an unknown person.
  4. I reached office before time and could complete all my task without doing overtime.
  5. I helped my colleague to deploy an important program to production.
  6. I committed a mistake of texting while driving. Fortunately, I did not hit the lady. I learnt from my mistakes.
  7. I went to gym after long time to keep myself fit and shall continue it.

To make your Thursday tremendous you just need to do things that:

  1. Makes you happy.
  2. Makes other happy.

Stay happy and keep your people happy. Your everyday shall be tremendous then.
